Heeslingen/Deutschland, 26.10.2023 – A quarter of a century full of innovation, commitment and quality: The traditional German brand Speedlink is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

The history of Speedlink began in 1998 when Jöllenbeck GmbH, a trading company for technical and electronic products, launched the Speedlink brand. Since then, the company has become a significant player in the industry and has continually expanded its portfolio. The extensive Speedlink range includes sound systems, headsets, mice, mouse pads, keyboards, gamepads and gaming chairs, as well as a wide range of IT accessories that combine the latest technologies with an attractive design.
Speedlink took launched as early as 2001 the extremely successful 2.1 GRAVITY loudspeaker system, which is still one of the company's bestsellers to this day. But that's not all: Speedlink successfully expanded into over 30 European countries.

The highlights of the company's history include: 

2007 - The Revolutionary Mouse: This year, Speedlink introduced the world's first vertical, ergonomic mouse to the market, making the company a pioneer in this segment.

2008 - Iconic joystick in a new edition: Speedlink brought back the retro classic "Competition Pro Joystick" in a contemporary USB version, which is available in a package with the matching retro games. 

2009 - Commitment to the environment: In 2009, Speedlink's partnership with WWF Germany (World Wide Fund for Nature) started. This cooperation, which continues to this day, shows Speedlink's commitment to environmental protection and sustainability.

2020 - Part of the Zeitfracht Group: In 2020, Speedlink became a proud member of the Zeitfracht Group. This strategic integration opened up new opportunities and resources for the company and underscored Speedlink's importance in the PC and gaming accessories market. Speedlink can look back on an impressive 25-year history and has always remained true to its motto: offering high-quality gaming and PC accessories at fair prices.
